CHIO Aachen 2008: 150.000 tickets already sold
Great demand 100 days prior to the event

100 days prior to the start of the competitions, the 150,000th ticket for the World Equestrian Festival, CHIO Aachen 2008 (June 27th - July 6th) has been sold: Gisela and Hermann Multmeier from Würselen near Aachen, who have been loyal CHIO-visitors for 50 years, were pleased about the bouquet of flowers that was handed over to them on this occasion by Brigitte Franzen, head of the CHIO's ticketing department. "The advance sale is running excellently", says Michael Mronz, General Manager of the Aachener Reitturnier GmbH. "Especially those horse sport fans that would like to obtain tickets for the Opening Ceremony, for the Mercedes-Benz Nations' Cup in show jumping or for the Eventing competitions should hurry up." In 2008, the CHIO Aachen will be carried out over two weekends for the first time since 47 years. Moreover, a lot of nations will use Aachen to decide on their teams for the Olympic Games. Again the five disciplines Show Jumping, Dressage, Eventing, Driving and Vaulting will be carried out in Aachen's Soers. This year's partner country will be Russia.
