CHIO-Auction: First-class horses in collection
Selection at Schloss Wickrath a big success

"We are very pleased!" stated dressage expert Ton de Ridder after the horse selection for the CHIO Auction 2008 at Schloss Wickrath. "The interest in the CHIO Auction has grown enormously and a lot of first-class horses were presented to us. We will now compile an exquisite collection." Also Peter Weinberg who is responsible for the jumping sector was enthused. "Aside to extremely talented youngsters, we will also have sport horses that have already been successful up to the highest level in this year's auction lot."

How prosperous the CHIO Auction's concept had already been at last year's premiere is proven by the current successes of the horses that were auctioned in 2007. Internationally successful were for example Ciro Z, who won the World Cup Jumping in Moscow, and Loyalty, who won the Grand Prix of Alexandria with her Arabic rider. In the dressage arena, youngster Femke under the talented Carlotta Söffing as well as Der kleine Prints, winner at the Young Horse Championships of the ponies were highly successful.

The auction catalogue with the collection's riding horses, ponies and foals of current top stallions will be available at the end of May.
