Prize of the District of Aachen had to be abandoned
Jump-off impossible due to bad weather front

The health and safety of the riders is always the priority: In close consultation with the riders, the jury and the show organizing committee decided to abandon the Winning Round of the "Prize of the District of Aachen". Just after the jump-off had begun, a hefty storm front accompanied by lightening and torrential rain suddenly assailed over the show grounds. The competition had to be totally abandoned.
It was decided that the five riders who had actually completed their rounds before the competition was abandoned were to be placed according to their interim results. The rest of the prize-money was divided up among the remaining 13 participants. Before the storm started, the American rider Laura Kraut was in the lead with Likido, ahead of Roger-Yves Bost (France)/Jovis de Ravel and Christina Liebherr (Switzerland) on L.B. Robin Hood. The prize ceremony will be held tomorrow
