Third victory for Roger-Yves Bost
The French rider wins the "Preis des Handwerks"

All good things come in threes
- although it is extremely doubtful whether it is going to
stop there: Roger-Yves Bost obviously packed a lucky pair
of jodhpurs for his trip to Aachen. The French rider won the
"Preis des Handwerks" today, bringing - in addition
to two further second places - his current total of victories
up to three at the World Equestrian Festival, CHIO Aachen
(June 27th - July 6th) or should we say the "CHIO Roger-Yves
Bost 2008."
This time the 42-year-old rider, who together
with his fellow countryman, Michael Robert, is competing in
Aachen as an individual rider, had saddled Kire Royal Star,
a 10-year-old French mare. In a time of 63.04 seconds, the
fast Frenchmen, who won gold with the French team at the World
Equestrian Games in Stockholm in 1990, left the Irish rider
Cameron Hanley on the 10-year-old Oldenburg stallion S.I.E.C.
Royal Star (64.30) and the US-American McLain Ward with the
16-year-old Holstein mare Goldika (65.27) trailing behind.
