Thomas Weinberg and Martin Brauchle sped to
victory in the Prize of the PROVINZIAL Rheinland Versicherung
AG - Jump & Drive

Speed and fast action always
hallmark the Prize of the PROVINZIAL Rheinland Versicherung
AG - Jump & Drive. The spectators love it when the riders
jump off their horses after speeding round a course, run to
the waiting four-in-hand carriage as fast as they can and
race around the Main Stadium with the drivers.
The show-jumper Thomas Weinberg (Kohlscheid)
with Gavio and four-in-hand driver Michael Brauchle (Lauchheim)
completed the show-jumping round and subsequent obstacle course
clear in a time of 119.24 seconds. The local matador Weinberg,
who was not only quick on his horse, but also sprinted to
the carriage in a flash, also won this competition last year
when he paired up with the Swiss driver, Werner Ulrich. The
ex-World Champion came seventh this year together with Jasmine
Chen on Quin Chin (133.13). The fast Frenchman Roger Yves
Bost, who has already won three jumping competitions at the
Soers so far, claimed second place with Kire Royal Star together
with the Swedish driver Tomas Eriksson in a time of 123.83
seconds ahead of the Irish/American team comprising of Cian
O'Connor on Baloufina and Tucker Johnson (124.60).
