A further American victory
in the four-in-hand obstacle course
Tucker Johnson wins the ZENTIS-Prize

The US-Americans have got a new reason to celebrate:
At the World Equestrian Festival, CHIO Aachen (June 27th -
July 6th) the winning rosette in the ZENTIS-Prize, the obstacle
course of the four-in-hand drivers, went to Tucker Johnson.
The businessman who lives in Florida won the competition with
a score of 1,790 points and a time of 201.61 seconds.
The Swiss driver Daniel Wurgler took second
place (1,770 Punkte/215.41 seconds) ahead of Mark Weusthof
from the Netherlands (1,730/215.29). Tucker Johnson hat harnessed
a team of tried and trusted dressage blood: Der Consul descends
from De Niro/Consul (11), Williams is a Weltmeyer/Bolero son
(11), Spotlight descends from Sevillano xx/Weltmeyer (10).
The trio is made complete by the 17-year-old Russian-bred
gelding, Spitfire. Tucker Johnson (44) has taken part in 5
World Championships to-date and won team silver in Jerez in
2002. The father of three, who also has a pilot's license,
has won the US Championship title four times.
The best German driver was Michael Brauchle,
who finished sixth. The 18-year-old is a member of the German
Young Talent Group and is currently studying metal technology.
He comes from Lauchheim.
